Hi, I will soon buy an iMac (I think), and I would like to dualboot with Linux (which is my current operating system). I'd like to know which filesystems (apart from HFS, of course) are supported on Mac OS.
I understand my question is a little out-of-topic, since MacFUSE is a FUSE implemention for Mac OS, hence it is "only" a framework for writing kernel modules related to filesystems. Improved question: What filesystem modules/extensions are based on MacFused? (it wool be cool to have this piece of information on the code.google.com page, by the way) So far I have found * ext2 and ext3 http://sourceforge.net/projects/fuse-ext2 * NTFS http://sourceforge.net/projects/catacombae/ [but read only?] What about FAT32? Is it implemented by the Mac OS kernel? What about the very good xfs? And what about more modern filesystems, like Reiserfs, Btrfs, hammer? Thanks for your pointers! What is my best option to share a partition between Linux and Mac OS? Régis -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacFUSE" group.
