Hello all! First, thank you for your hard work, I am a big fan of the
MacFUSE project, and use sshfs daily.

I have been using sshfs 1.0.0 GUI in Mac OS 10.4 for two months with
no complaints. Usually I connect to my schools RedHat Enterprise
Linux 5 server or Free BSD 7.2 server. I got sshfs 1.0.0 from
http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/downloads/detail?name=sshfs-1.0.0.dmg&can=4&q=
It would be nice if sshfs opened to asking me if I would like to
reconnect to a recent SSH server, but it's no big deal. I can open
files to TextWrangler from the remote server, and save to the remote
server from within TextWrangler, so sshfs works well for me.

The page at http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/wiki/MACFUSE_FS_SSHFS
implores me to upgrade, so today I installed sshfs 2.5.1, which does
not include a GUI. I understand the GUI can be downloaded and
compiled seperately, but have not found a link. Is there an updated
GUI for 10.4? Is sshfs-gui 1.1 (10.5+ only,
http://code.google.com/p/sshfs-gui/)
the only updated version of the sshfs GUI available? I'm not
upgrading my OS. Anyway, sshfs 2.5.1 mounted in my terminal, but did
not show up in my finder.

I have followed the instructions at http://pqrs.org/macosx/sshfs/document.html
on how to mount from the terminal, but my remote drive never appears
in the finder. Since sshfs 1.0.0 works in the finder, I have deleted
the sshfs folder (created by sshfs-2.5.1) from my Applications
directory. I'm still using sshfs 1.0.0 today.

Just thought you guys would like to know. Thanks again, and best
wishes.
