Hi, I've been having problems with a variety of programs under PowerPC linux on my G5 and have decided to switch back to Mac OS X, I mainly use the machine as a file server and to process video now and then. I've read with interest about MacFUSE and it's API. Is it possible to use FUSE modules by compiling them in OS X? In other words if compiled is the API compatible? Specifically I'd love to be able to use ZFS (http://zfs-fuse.net/).
The reason for this is that I currently have a 2TB RAID array (XFS) and I'm looking for a suitable and reliable filesystem replacement to use under OS X. Performance doesn't have to be blinding, but reliability is a must. Any thoughts or suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacFUSE" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
