First: thanks to Jeff for the caution, thanks to Erik and Tuxera for the further development.
I'm testing (making everyday use of) MacFUSE on Snow Leopard, 64-bit kernel and extensions on a MacBook Pro. Been using it for 4 days now. Both to access PogoPlug drives off a Dockstar (NAS), and to read/write files on a Windows 7 64-bit partition on my hard drive (through NTFS-3G). Several things to report: 1. No issues re: data corruption (to my knowledge) 2. With respect to the PogoPlug drives, whenever I perform any Finder function, there is generally a time lag between taking action to perform the function (e.g., clicking, drag and drop, scroll) and the actual performance of the function. Not sure what to what that should be attributed. 3. No issue with respect to reading/writing files on a Windows 7 64- bit partition. I wish that ExpanDrive (Jeff M) would make a beta version of its software that would allow testing of this MacFuse with a 64-bit kernel; it sucks seeing that that is the only one of my programs that does not load up at start-up (and, in fact, gives me this HUGE screen telling me it doesn't work with 64-bit kernel). Other than the lag expressed above, I am very happy with this. Keep up the great work. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacFUSE" group.
