Hi,
MacFUSE does not provide ext3 support. MacFUSE is a developer component
and does nothing for the end user alone.
Maybe you are looking for fuse-ext2 (which uses MacFUSE for the Mac
version):

I am on the latest version of MacFuse, running a fully up to date OSX
10.6 on two macs, one an imac the other a macmini.
I have a ext 500G disk, ext3 formated on unbuntu, which on the imac is
visible, but on the macmini, comes up with the cannot recognize this
disk error.
Please can any one shed any light on this problem?
