Hi Tim, There is no official MacFUSE build supporting the 64bit kernel. But have a look at this thread http://groups.google.com/group/macfuse/browse_thread/thread/9c44e83b07737b83
or this one for more details http://groups.google.com/group/macfuse/msg/3e241f9f051bfa6a Am 04.01.2011 um 18:29 schrieb Tim Jones: > Hi All, > > Since Apple are now shipping all new Mac Pro systems with the 64bit > kernel installed by default, MacFuSE - up to and including the 2.1.5 > BETA - panics on load with the following output: > > $ sudo kextutil /Library/Filesystems/fusefs.fs/Support/fusefs.kext > (kernel) kxld[com.google.filesystems.fusefs]: The following symbols > are unresolved for this kext: > (kernel) kxld[com.google.filesystems.fusefs]: _OSRuntimeFinalizeCPP > (kernel) kxld[com.google.filesystems.fusefs]: _OSRuntimeInitializeCPP > (kernel) Can't load kext com.google.filesystems.fusefs - link failed. > (kernel) Failed to load executable for kext > com.google.filesystems.fusefs. > (kernel) Kext com.google.filesystems.fusefs failed to load > (0xdc008016). > (kernel) Failed to load kext com.google.filesystems.fusefs (error > 0xdc008016). > Failed to load /Library/Filesystems/fusefs.fs/Support/fusefs.kext - > (libkern/kext) link error. > Check library declarations for your kext with kextlibs(8). > > Is it correct to assume to is due to the fact that the current MacFuSE > is 32bit? Your assumption is correct. The standard MacFUSE kext won't load when running the 64 bit kernel. Hope this helps.
