No. 

You're talking about tools that work on specific filesystems for recover files 
from those filesystems by examining those filesystems. 

MacFUSE allows you to use/have different filesystems. As such you would need 
tools for those filesystems, and yiu shouldn't expect those that operate on 
other filesystems to work.
