opened Parallels Desktop 4.0 after year of non-use and got the following message: "Operating System Too Old: The installed MacFuse version is too new for the operating system. Please downgrade your MacFuse installation to one that is compatible with the currently running operating system."
My set-up: Mac OS X 10.6.7 (2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo), Memory 2 GB 667 MHz Parallels Desktop 4.0 MS Windows XP.pvm, Windows Explorer 3.2 MacFuse (32 bit) v 2.0.2 Questions: 1. how do i downgrade MacFuse 2. should i delete MacFuse 3. if i delete MacFuse, would it detrimentally affect other parts of my system 4. which "operating system" is the error message referring to - Windows XP, Windows Explorer or Mac OS X? thank you so much for whatever help someone can give me -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacFUSE" group.
