Little update:

OSXFUSE 2.3.2 has been released earlier today and addresses the Finder 
permission issue (option allow_other had been required in the past) and the 
deadlock issue on heavy I/O as seen with EncFS. OSXFUSE should now be on par 
with Bryan Pham's MacFUSE 2.2.2.
