There are already several threads regarding the current state of MacFUSE. MacFUSE is outdated (last release in 2008) and not compatible with Lion. The "community" can't push patches to the MacFUSE repository. The original author made sure of that. In short: The name MacFUSE is associated with/belongs to Google. The project has been forked. There are two new projects called OSXFUSE and Fuse4X that work on Lion. OSXFUSE is compatible with MacFUSE and can be a drop-in replacement. Fuse4X aims to be more upstream/Linux FUSE compatible.
More details can be found in the original threads. Am 21.11.2011 um 17:34 schrieb Ryan: > Why is MacFUSE no longer supported? It seems like a huge need by lots > of users.
