I agree with 1-13, especially after having broken my big toe in the =
darkness.
I need renter's insurance badly, even though I had no damage. Next time =
I might not be so lucky. Please let us know your agent's name.
Thanks!

Subject: MacGroup: Insurance Works Great! (A little OT)
After nearly a week without power, Pike Electric Company of Mt Airy, =
NC
reconnected our lines Saturday nite and we have power again. Still no =
phone, but
that's coming back this week.
And I discovered several things while living in the dark.
1. I've got some pretty interesting neighbors.
2. After a few days without a TV, you learn to not miss it.
3. I'll be taking a break from peanut butter for a while.
4. Cold showers suck.
5. Heaven is air conditioned.
6. i'm gonna miss the 3am bull session with the neighborhood.
7. Sweating is overrated.
8. In the land of the power outage, the man with the gas stove is =
king.
9. Using the bathroom in the dark can be dangerous.
10. I need to invent a coffee maker with a battery backup.
11. Highland Coffee is dedicated to their customers' comfort. (Greg, =
the owner,
bought a generator Tuesday nite so his regulars would have coffee on =
Wednesday
morning.)
12. I'm not as addicted to the Internet as I thought I was.
13. I'm glad this didn't happen when the Cicadas were around.
But, to the matter of insurance, if anyone wants the strongest, most =
powerful
insurance in the world, let me know. Mine is awesome. Because of my =
intense
insurance coverage, the three tons of tree that fell in our street =
missed my
11-year-old, fully covered, POS automobile.
My old beige mutant G3/4 (that needs to be replaced by a G4 or G5) =
that is also
fully covered by my renters' insurance started like a champ Staurday =
nite. I
would have received a check for full replacement value had it been =
fried.
The moral of the story, if I had no insurance, the car would've been =
smashed and
the computer would've been a pile of scrap. See how well insurance =
works.
