Here's a different view. I have DiskWarrior and the latest Drive10, and have used both since they came out. DiskWarrior is an OS9 utility, unless I have missed an update. That means you run it in OS9 or from its CD, as it will not run under OSX. It seems old in design. It creates an optimized file directory, but does not defrag files or disks. (I used to use its companion, PlusOptimizer, for that.) Drive10 it made to run in and fix OSX. It fixes file directory problems, and in addition, it does the following things that DiskWarrior does not do: 1. Defragments files. 2. Defragments volumes (disks). 3. Repairs OSX permissions (very important). I would only take the trouble to use DiskWarrior again if I had a problem that Drive10 was not fixing. Perhaps a future version of DiskWarrior will be more competitive with Drive10 for OSX.
