>We are making available for free copies of a CD entitled "Getting Started
with Mac OS X Version 10.2" that is >VERY user friendly. I came across it

Ward, is this still available? I just joined the list and am still catching
up with posts.

I'm spending the holidays learning OSX. I bought an iBook from Mactown for
my Mother this Xmas; it's her first
computer of any kind, and she's having an absolute ball with it. She been
wanting to get online, and I decided on the iBook primarily because the
reported ease in setting up the Airport for 802.11b . I bet it didn't take
me 20 minutes to get it up and running. Now she can sit at the kitchen
table, or in the den or even on the back deck and surf the net.

I spent a lot of time debating over getting her a Windows machine or an
Apple. I think I made the right choice.

....the only thing is, I keep wanting to make right clicks :-)
