This Olevia brand has been making a lot of noise with their relatively
low prices:

Most of their models seem to be the combo TV/monitor type units that
you're looking for. I don't have any personal experience though with
the quality of their products, just been reading a lot of buzz about
them.

Subject: MacGroup: TV screen and monitor

Folks, I would appreciate your input. I need a TV LCD screen which will
also serve as monitor for my envisioned mac-mini. It should not be more
thn 20 inches, but preferrably much smaller, 15 or 17 would do fine.
Even a 13 inch is not out of the question. It is supposed to be portable
for a person with arthritic hands that don't support a lot of weight. I
appreciate the modern style of a Sharp Aquos or Phillips, know little
about the inside and specifications ,so I really cannot tell what most
of them mean, but whenever I find something suitable, it is either only
a monitor or only TV, at least that is what I get from sales people whom
I hardly ever trust to actually know much about the objects they are
selling. ( You might recall I need that Dish channel to get that German
station) Maybe one of you can give me a bit of guidance here, lest I
wait until I have passed into the Elysian fields before I can set up the
thing.
