Thanks for the clarification, Harry.  Apparently, I was confusing Apple's
Mail program with a mac.com email client, which does cost for its use...And
from my playing around, Apple's Mail program seems to be like the
Incredimail program that someone suggested I use, since I have a home email
address and a school email address.  If the settings are correct, apparently
it goes out and pulls in whatever folders you set up and you can access new
mail from your various inboxes.  Unfortunately, my settings require some
changing that requires more expertise than I have (at present, but that
changes daily, thanks to this group! )  :-)  ... Happy weekend, all!
