Well, it took me about 6 months but I finally landed a job in Lexington
Kentucky! I'm working as a design engineer for the Lexmark Consumer
Products Division in the ink-jet print head design group. I know this
is off topic a bit but I wanted to let the group know that I am in the
process of setting up a new Java user group. The group will be hosted
on Java.net. For the details please see the links below:

   or

I am also a community leader for the new Embedded Java community on
java.net. Some of you may be interested in the projects and
announcements that are posted there.

When time permits, I'm planning to start a Macintosh/OS-X user group in
the Lexington area. I searched but didn't find a Mac group in Lexington
that seemed to be active. I was hoping to find a group that meets a
couple of time a month. I have a preliminary web site pulled together
but it's still under construction. More to come once I get settled in a
bit more...

If you know of any other Linux, Mac, or Java resources in Kentucky,
please send me an e-mail with the link. Thanks in advance...

Dan
