I have tried to get my Sprint phone to work as a modem on my ibook. It
has never worked. It almost worked on my pc, but I didn't invest enough
time into it to figure out why. I think due to the fact that my palm
connect serial cable is not the right one.
It will take a bit of research on your part to find out what you need
to get what you want accomplished. There are many different phones that
may or may not work with the mac. You may look into a bluetooth phone,
I think that they can share a connection with a blue tooth computer
(Bluetooth adapter for usb?)
You may want to look on google for something like Mac cell phone modem
and see what comes up.
That is about all i know what to tell you.
