Not sure if this will fit the bill but there's of course Macromedia
Dreamweaver:

Nice stuff in Dreamweaver MX includes a nice basic image editor (based
on the technology from their Fireworks product). Works basically the
same between the PC and the Mac versions.

There's also Eclipse, which is primarily an IDE for creating Java
software but it does support HTML editing. Though not quite as
point-and-click as you're describing:

The nice thing about Eclipse is that (a) it's a native Java app so it
runs pretty much everywhere--Linux, Mac, Windows, and (b) it's open
source so it's free for the downloading.

Subject: MacGroup: Mac Java HTML editor

Several content management systems that we have looked at to manage the
content of our web site Louisville.com use Java HTML editors to help
format text and graphics. These editors look much like an MS Word
document, with various tools that one can click on to implement
boldface, italics and other type styles, change text colors, upload and
place graphics, etc.

The problem is that all of the full-featured editors we have seen work
only on PCs. We have found a couple that purport to work with Macs, but
they have limited functionality and are somewhat buggy.

Does anyone know of a _good_ Java (or other web-based) editor for the
Mac that could be used with a variety of content management systems?

Thanks.

Dan
