I believe that's what happened to Publish & Subscribe, although Apple has incorporated similar applications as part of the OS. I'm running OS 8.6 and there's a control panel called File Synchronization that's very similar. If the latest version of AppleWorks has Publish & Subscribe in the Edit menu, then OS X should still support it, but I dont think so.
