Hi Charlie,

The self mounting image (smi.) is obviously corrupted. Feel free to come
into our Store with CD-R in hand and download it from one of our Macs.

Subject: MacGroup: Installing 9.2.1

Hey group,

I'm trying to update from 9.0 to 9.2.2. The Apple site instructs that 9.1
be installed first, then 9.2.1, then 9.2.2. Everthing went well with
downloading and installing 9.1, but when I try to install 9.2.1, I get the
following message:

Unable to Execute "Mac OS9.2.1 Updatesmi". The checksum is invalid
(expected $07D9192A, calculated $04BB919D).

I tried redownloading 9.2.1 a couple of times to see if there had been
corruption during the downdoading process, but received same message when I
attempted to install them as well.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Charlie P.
