Need help from those in the know.

I purchased Cat 6 cable today, to run true gigabit speeds between a
server and either a computer, or a gigabit switch. I had read that
there was a "choking" of the speed with the "ends" that were currently
being sold, so I ask the salesman and sure enough the ends that they
can get (Graybar Electric) do not guarantee gigabit speed, and at this
point they didn't know where they could be purchased.

Does anyone know who may offer such? I will go ahead and run the wire,
but I don't want to finish the ends until I have what is needed.

Many thanks,

John Robinson
