This morning I klikt on something I had downloaded a while ago
to see what it was.
My cursor stopped responding,
then disappeared.
I rebooted, ran Disk First Aid, etc. etc.
S L O W
But sometimes when the computer appears to have frozen,
it has not crashed.
It's simply taking a while to show that it still runs.
Perhaps if I had waited,
the computer would have been up and responding sooner.
How long should I wait?
before I despair and hit the power button to re-boot,
(against Apple's recommendations)?
