The manual was written by someone else, and costs extra, as I'm sure
the program has told you.
But Lemke himself answers questions on the free listserv, sample below.

There were two solutions offered:
Changing to 100% from full size did not help. I have about 1.5 inches of
black on each side of the photos.
The Mac powerbook screen is 1280 x 854 the pics are 2272 x 1704.
Also tried changing to original size with no effect still border on each
side of slides.
Any other thoughts?
bob

Curious: The order is the one in the slideshow list.

I have been using "Photo Companion" for my RAW files. It is faster at
generating the previews, and allows for easy scripting of Photoshop to
convert the files to other formats, supporting the Photoshop Camera RAW
plug-in.
http://www.wildcape.com/software.html
This is a little OT, I know, but might be usefull.
For the record, I have also mailed an example RAW file from my
PowerShot G3, if Thorsten might be able to speed up the
preview-generation for these.

Hello,
please use the latest beta: http://www.lemkesoft.com/beta.html
Which display the preview really fast.
The CRW format doesn?t support IPTC. You have to convert the files to
standard TIFF or JPEG.

The next beta will check first if the mouse is over the icons.

Subject: OS X opening JPEGs
Anyone know how OS 10.2.6 identifies Jpegs? Is it so "dumb" as to do
this by looking for the ".jpg" extension? You would think that a
sophisticated OS would look at the file itself, and not the way the
name is spelled...
I ask because I want Graphic Converter to open ALL my Jpegs, Every
Time, but even though I have set the "Change All" flag a number of
times on jpegs created by different programs, if I'm not watching
closely and a program defaults to creating a jpeg with the Picture
Viewer icon, "Classic Mode" will start up in order to show the
picture with the OS 9.x Picture Viewer. Now how dumb is that for an
OS that supposedly has Quicktime as one of its fundamental parts?
The system can't figure out that "Preview" will open the file?
Ideally, Graphic Converter should open it, since it's already been
set up more than once to do so, but if the system can't figure that
out the least it could do is stay within OS X.
Puzzled by knucklehead programming,
Greg

Hi Greg,
All I can say is that OSX 10.2.6 recognizes a .jpeg picture even if it is
not in the picture's name itself. And also that double clicking on the icon
opens Preview.
If you have deleted the .jpeg termination from a picture and drag it on
GraphicConverter, you will notice that the window which opens shows your
name of the picture, plus the extension .JPG
The same thing happens if you drag your picture to this other useful utility
FileBuddy. There, you will see that the "Hide extension" box is checked.
Hope this can help

I just did a test, using a folder containing 5 RAW files from a
PowerShot G3. The color spinning wheel was running for about 2:30
minutes and finally all images was displayed using a generic icon, and
these was given a preview VERY fast (1 every second or so).
Maybe the preview generation has been speeded up, if that is what I saw
here, but it seems the app has gone into an infinite loop when I have
to watch the spinning wheel for that long prior to the preview
generation.

Hello,
do you use the latest beta.
The preview take here about 4-5 seconds.
