If, while typing on my iBook I place/rest more than one finger on the track pad the cursor goes haywire. I have to stop typing and remove the offending appendages to get it to settle down.
(Clarification: it is the ibar image of the cursor that moves around erratically, the insertion point does not change). Adjusting the tracking speed and/or doubleclick speed in the mouse preferences does not seem to affect the problem other than to speed up or slow down the haywire cursor. I don't recall this ever happening on my wallstreet. Have any of you iBook or TiBook owners encountered this problem?
