I can't argue with you on that Harry. I'm just stating what the 
AppleWorks User Group told me. I'm still using version 5. However, if 
you want to verify your claim, you could download this file 
<ftp://members.aol.com/visitmacland/docslib/logo.sit> . When you open 
the document, press the F5 key. If the animation works then version 6 at 
least reads macros made in 5. If not, then your assumptions are correct. 
The file is a little over 260Kb and is cute to watch.  If you press the 
F5 key more than once, then that's how many times it will repeat. Most 
of the AppleWorks files at my site use macros. They're one of the things 
that makes desktop computing fun.
