Hi Mike, Hmm, you might like this one also for your grandkids (or yourself!)
It is a race car simulation program (game) that is pretty realistic in that it uses realistic physics and technical data information about the cars. It also has many downloads (other cars, tracks, etc. -- one of them is a track somewhere in "Kentucky - Appalachia").
