Allan, i always wait until my subscription just about runs out. Then they will always give you a reduction. Mine for Macworld runs out in two months. At first they wanted $ 34.95. now they want the same amount , but offer me all kinds of extras. The next time around they will offer me a lower price. Almost all subscriptions are programmed to do this number. Marta Allan Atherton <aatherton at insightbb.com> wrote: > In 1999 I renewed my subscription to Macworld for $19.97. Thanks to the suggestion of another member that I could negotiate my rate, I called and was offered $24.97 which I thought was reasonable. Allan Atherton | The next meeting of the Louisville Computer Society will | be January 28. The LCS Web page is <http://www.kymac.org>.
