thanks for your answers. It worked fine this time. I don't know why it did
not work before, since I "screenshotted" so many other screens. I  did the
command-shift 3 - to disk on  OS 9. The combination you gave me, Ward, is ,I
believe, for OSX, and I don't have the i-Tunes with appropriate music in my
new  classy, the epitome in design, computer as yet. It has only one
ear-insulting sample in it. Marta
