What is one supposed to do when the monitor (display) won't wake from sleep. My 800mHz flat panel iMac went to sleep automatically as it does when i don't do anything on the computer for a few minutes. This last time it wouldn't wake up. It didn't matter which key I pressed. Didn't help to yell at the thing either. I finally pulled the power cord. (I am in control!) The fan was still running when I pulled the plug.
The Energy Saver panel is set to put the computer and the display to sleep at whatever time interval the third hash mark from the left stands for. Also the box to Put the hard disk to sleep when possible is checked. None of the options are checked. Anne | The next meeting of the Louisville Computer Society will | be April 22.
