Harry,

 I would recommend the Samsung ML-1210. It is OS 8.5 and up And OS X(which
is what I am using). It is also windows compatible (of course). You can pick
on up for less than $200, that?s right, I said $200. I just bought mine two
weeks ago at CompUSA it was 199 with a 20 instant cash back and a $50 mail
in rebate for a total of 129.99+tax So far I am pleased with it. I havent
used it under classic (os8 and up) But through OS X and NT its does just
fine. Its very small too which is a plus. Takes up MUCH less room than my
old LW IInt which it replaced just like you.
 I am sure that this printer is a rebadged Lexmark E-210, which you can find
for 99 dollars. BUT, no Mac support. I do like the Lexmarks for quality, and
if they break they're easy to work on (and I work on many of them)
