Entirely possible. I think the two big 'not on X' apps were photoshop and
quark. I don't know if quark is there now, and I don't know if photoshop
have released their cheaper versions for X yet. The cheaper versions
[LE/Elements] didn't come out at the same time as the photoshop for X. [or
does that come out next month?].

The bigger issue is peripherals I believe. Especially if you're not
wanting to be using that little OS 9 app that you just can't live without.
Using printers over a network and hooking up scanners are supposed to be
quite poor. Digital/video cameras seem to work pretty well, nicer than on
Windows.

There seem to be a fair amount of games out there, but I've never tried
any to see if they compare to PC counterparts.
