As I listened to Steve Jobs' Keynote speech on the apple site yesterday, it seems that the new widgets come in the free update to 10.4.4. I did not pay that much attention, since I don't have Tiger, but there will be snow condition widgets, sport scores, a new calendar and the white pages mentioned by Stuart etc. He said all around, counting in widgets from other sources, there are about 1500, so Apple felt they had to add a few themselves---- ( he talks about them right after he explains Aperture) before going into iLife and iWork.
