As I listened to Steve Jobs' Keynote  speech on the apple site 
yesterday, it seems that the new widgets come in the free update to 
10.4.4. I did not pay that much attention, since I don't have Tiger, 
but there will be snow condition widgets, sport scores, a new calendar 
and the white pages mentioned by Stuart etc. He said all around, 
counting  in widgets from other sources, there are about 1500, so Apple 
felt they had to add a few themselves---- ( he talks about them right 
after he explains Aperture) before going into iLife and iWork.
