Have you emptied (deleted) AppleWorks Recent Items Folder recently? <YourMacintoshHD/Users/YourName/Documents/AppleWorks User Data/Starting Points/Recent Items>
Just drag the folder to the trash. Another one will appear the next time you use AW. This is a well known problem with AW. I think I will empty my AW Recent Items now.
