Check a specialty battery store in the Okolona area as a possible  
source;
  it's at 8310 So. Preston Hwy., and is called Batteries Plus.

I've found sizes and styles of batteries there I couldn't find  
elsewhere.

As to your installation question, I've never had an iPod in hand, sorry.
