27G is a lot of large files somewhere, maybe iTunes, pictures or  
movies? A trip through those files, and your Applications folder  
would sort unnecessary and out of date stuff. I don't use any  
software to manage my HD's and always have 50% available, doubt you  
would gain that much disk space otherwise, so I vote for not even  
needing it. Consider storing pictures and movies etc off the main  
drive. [1] DeLocalizer freeware will remove up to 1G of unnecessary  
languages installed by OS X...jf
