"Grab", a utlity that comes with OS X (look in ~/Applications/ 
Utilities/) saves screenshots as tiffs. You can open them in  
Photoshop and increase the resolution to 300 ppi (or whatever). Of  
course, the acquired image is going to be the same 72 ppi resolution  
as the screen, so increasing its resolution to 300 will give you a  
much bigger file to send to the printer, but won't actually increase  
its print quality (I don't think).
