I am replacing an employee's iMac running 10.3.9 with an eMac running 10.4.5. He has been using OS X Mail on his iMac. When I try to import his mailboxes into his new account on the eMac, the import function appears to work ? it finds "Inbox", "Sent" and several other mailboxes on his iMac, and I get a brief flash of the progress bar filling ? but no actual messages are imported.
After doing this, the eMac's Mail program does have an "Imported" mailbox in the sidebar and there are folders labeled "Inbox", "Sent", etc. inside that mailbox, but those folders are empty. Could this be caused by the changes made in Mail between 10.3.9 and 10.4.x? Any suggested solutions?
