Lee I use it to go through Adobe's Photoshop forums.
I read the messages and answer questions all day long.
Using a newsreader is way faster that the webpage message board.
I use Macromedia's forums the same way.
Most of the straight forums I look at out on the wild and wooly web 
don't have much spam.
