I'm clearing things out of the house and one of the lucky emigrants is a CRT style iMac.
Looking on Apple's site I'm pretty sure it's: ------------------------------- iMac (Slot Loading) 1999-10 Blueberry 350 MHz Slot loading CD-ROM drive, 6 GB hard drive ------------------------------- Airport cards are a pain in the arse to get for this model, so I used a USB wireless card which was a bit iffy but did the job (not supplied). Comes with original mouse/keyboard/power-cord. No operating system; but should be a good fit for a Linux box. Can run OS X if you add memory (128mb by default, but memory is cheap on ebay). I sadly don't have the original OS 9 disks, so can't offer them. Anyway, I'd love to give it to a good mac-desiring cause. Checking ebay, it only sells for $50 or so, so we're not talking about any great deal :) Hen | The next meeting of the Louisville Computer Society will | be November 22 at Pitt Academy, 6010 Preston Highway. | The LCS Web page is <http://www.kymac.org>. | List posting address: <mailto:macgroup at erdos.math.louisville.edu> | List Web page: <http://erdos.math.louisville.edu/macgroup>
