I have some footage shot on my Sony DCR-HC42 and downloaded to iMovie. The
sound quality is poor and irrelevant to what I want to do, so I'm trying to
snuff it. I went to Timeline>Edit Volume and pulled the blue line down to the
bottom. On the Quicktime Movie, no sound. But when I burned a DVD (on a
LaCie burner), the sound is still there. So I extracted the sound to Track 2,
then deleted Track 2. No sound on Quicktime Movie, but still there when I
burned the DVD. What might I do to get rid of the sound? BTW, 1) to Marta,
it's good to know you're thriving and out of the hospital; 2) on the business
about prepositions at the end of a sentence, remember what Winston Churchill
said: "This is nonsense up with which I shall not put."
