Hi, Mike. if you use iTunes  and have the tunes in a playlist, then you 
can under Advanced  in the pulldown menu change the selection into 
Mp3s. That is what I do when I want to send a tune to somebody. That 
compresses the files considerably.  Lee  knows how much. I have to do 
that with Sound Studio, too, because they only use AIFF format.
