Hey folks, Anyone know a simple way to ground a turntable to the same ground as a computer?
I (finally) bought an iMic, so that I could record records into the computer w/o carting the whole stereo to the basement, but am now faced with a serious hum. I thought that grounding the turntable to the cheap, modern, all-in-one stereo which is plugged into the same outlet strip as the USB hub would fix the problem, but I was mistaken. I see that Griffin cleverly sells a grounded rca to miniplug adapter, but 12.99 seems a bit steep for a ground. Any other ideas?
