Harry, I wanted to make it to Louisville, in time to make it to the meeting tonight and Memorial day weekend. But unfortunately, I won't be able to make it back in time (since I am still in Austin, TX today).
Recently, the I ran into our regional Apple rep, and he asked me to do a demo of some software I was working with- whenever I was next back in Louisville. He thought you all might be interested, in the various software I have been demo-ing. Although I first attended this group in 1990--a few years ago when I was working in FL, I had heard this group in Louisville had folded. (Perhaps the person that had told me this, had it confused it with Randy's group?) But then I heard, that no, it was still around - but you all had moved back from Indiana, and the name had changed. So until a few months ago, I wasn't even sure if you all were still considered an official Apple MUG? It looks like you may include other hardware platforms too? I looked at the ayenet website to clarify the platform base to know for sure, but I am still not sure about that. Plus, I couldn't locate the Officers or Board lists, to know who to contact for the other information. If you could, please send me that information? I will need that, also in order to get clearance to demo, if things are still in beta version... and not yet released at that time. (I would have to do that first anyway, before I can show anything to anybody. Sorry I can't be there tonight, to talk to you about this in person, as I had originally planned on doing. But instead, maybe I could meet with you all at the next Board meeting, the next time I am back in town? From the tone of late of this mailing list, I am not even sure, if graphic software is even something of interest. Plus, since some of it is Microsoft based (gasp! I let that one out of the bag! ;-)) - It might be more of interest to the other advertising or Louisville Computer PC group instead, which I know some of you are also members of. Anyway we can talk about it later. Have a great meeting tonight and hopefully see you ya soon. All the best, Yours, Kay ...
