Were all your affected bookmarks overseas sites? The current Internet Traffic
Report:

http://www.internettrafficreport.com/main.htm

Seems to indicate some problems reaching sites out in Asia and Australia--if
your bookmarks were out there it might have just been Internet problems and not
Safari.

No they were not, all the bookmarks I have, as far as I can tell are domestic,
and I failed to mention in the original message, that I checked this by using
IE, and had no problems opening my bookmarks.
Thanks again for any responses.
Subject: MacGroup: Safari Bookmarks

Hey Group,
I don't know if this is a friday the 13th thing or what, but I have been using
Safari for 6 months, have had no major problems thus far, (except retainment of
user names and passwords on my mac at home thats set up for multi-users, but
thats another story.) Today, while using Safari, when I opened the bookmark
list, only about a third of the bookmarks would work. I would double click on a
bookmark, and nothing, go down the list, and same thing, some would open, most
not. I emptyed the cache, cleared the history and even reset it, to no avail.
Then I exported the bookmark file to save it, and reinstalled Safari, imported
the bookmark file, and still the same situation. Very strange. Any one have or
had this happen? Thanks for any responces,
Mike Robertson
