I've not used the Extreme Z IP software, so take what I say as just 
guessing.

On other Mac file sharing setups that I use (Linux+Netatalk, 
Linux+Samba), this same behavior happens when a directory called 
something like "Network Trash Folder" has its permissions set wrong. It 
should be set so that everyone can write to it.
