I assume you mean a dynamic DNS server. (I also run a caching DNS server off my Linux box for the home network.) The answer to the DDNS question is "yes." I've been registered with DynDNS.org since a couple of days after I got the cable connection, and it works like magic. I'm at lml.homedns.org, by the way.
