Hi everyone, I am a new suscriber.
I am unable to include "clickable" links in my emails to PC users. They
appear normal to the recipients, but only Mac recipients are able to "click"
to a website or email address. I am using Outlook Express 5.0.2.
If I use a plain text email format, the links work, however, I need to
send in HTML because I need color and fancy fonts, etc.
Really weird, a PC can send me an email with clickable links, and I can
merely send it back to them (no alteration) as a reply, and the links are
destroyed (they still look normal).
I have tested and troulble shooted multiple ways, with several people
both Mac and PC, and if a Mac so much as "touches" any email with links,
they are broken when sent out. I have also tried many methods of insertion,
pasting, and using brackets. Nothing works.
For my purpose, it is unacceptable that I can't send a link to PC users.
Surely this can't be the way it is. A footnote, no one ever told me until I
asked, that they were unable to use ("click") my links. This could be
happening to you. Any ideas? Thanks, Mark Beyer
