There is a program that might be useful to some called X11 Extension X11 Extension is a background application for Apple?s X11 that makes it easy to launch X11 apps, X11 documents, Window Managers and Desktops.
that is available on Apple's site http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/unix_open_source/x11extension.html I have not tried this one so I cannot say one way or the other. But it might be of some use if you are wanting a familiar GUI style approach. Also, you might find that installing ESPGhostscript and Gimp-print will really be beneficial to you as you get better printer drivers than the default ones supplied by the vendors. In addition, you get the ability to print PostScript Level 3 to an ink-jet printer (those of you that know what this is will know if you want it) http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/unix_open_source/ espghostscript.html http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/unix_open_source/gimpprint.html Note: On this last, you do not need X11 as this works for 10.2.x in general. But you will want it if you are using X11 stuff because many of those programs want to use PostScript for printing. Jerry -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
