To the group, I am a new member, I have been using macs for years, but am just trying to get the hang of OS X, I downloaded an 10.1.5 upgrade from the apple site, but can't figure out how to get past "administrator password required to load this software" command. I downloaded the file on my imac at home because I have a broadband connect there, put it on a cd and put it in the powerbook that is running 10.1.4. Is that part of the problem?, Is it required that the download be done with the unit that is going to be upgraded, and by copying it, OS X won't allow it to be installed on another unit? Any help here will be appreciated. Thankyou, Mike Robertson.
