I frequently bump into pains with Stuffit Expander. It automatically opens up zip files and yet cannot handle the length of some file names. I've found in IE where I go to turn off the automatic downloading, I assume I'll be able to find the same thing in Omni and Mozilla, but does anyone know if this problem is:
a) Fixable b) Stuffit, or a problem with the file system If i use the unzip command on the command line, things are fine. But it could be some kind of weird Mac-emulation thing in the OS-X layer GUI layer that 'supports' the old OS 9- filename restrictions?
